The wonderful gentleman Kevin Rose of that famous VFL/AFL Club, Collingwood , and famous footballing family Dynasty 'The Roses', is causing much discussion amongst potential attendees prior to this weeks pre home game Presidents lunch.
Kevin will tell you as many Collingwood stories as you want to hear. He is a rare gentleman with a wealth of footballing gems to pass on.
As you know our guest speakers offer their time 'free of charge' and it's only right that we give them as much support as we can. Their intention is the same as ours; to raise important funds for the Club's ongoing viability.
Despite the buzz about Kevins appearance Peter Thynne still need to have a rough idea regarding attendees. So far bookings include:
1. The Hugh Ramsay's Stratogen table = 10
2. Fitzy's table = 10
3. The Presidents table = 12
4. A spare table, so far made up of a mix of people including David Falla of Laguna Signs and some his valued associates plus our vey own legend Len Daddow and guest. (10 persons)
5. Tony Jedynak table consisting of : Mike & Marg Storrer, Brian & Christine, Peter & Moira, Gary Murnane, James (Emerald), Derek Connolly & Guest, George Coulis and Tony Jednyak.
6. We also have another table that in the past has included Les & Kerry Spratt and a mix of others. (10 persons)
7. That leaves us two more tables as of yet unfilled. (one of those tables can take 12 persons and the other 8 persons) One Rob Dick has booked in advance so these tables are now filling fast.
The many WAGS who have been attending these lunches are loving it and for your information at the last lunch we had 32 WAGS in attendance. (WAGS = Wives and Girlfriends)
It would be great if we could get all of those 'below the radar' Collingwood supporters to emerge from the woodwork and turn out in numbers to give Kevin Rose the adulation that he justly deserves.

##### a couple of things to note.
- We currently have a live secret auction for a corporate box at the Gabba (donated by Dowling & Neylan) Lions VS Carlton on Saturday 31st May. The leading bid so far is $1000.00. Plenty of time to up the ante on this generous bid. Please note that the corporate box caters for 8 patrons and does not include food or beverages.
Also, as you know, we have an emphasis this season on sponsors at least giving each other the opportunity to do business with one another. Bring your business cards along and put them in our mega in club house business card holder. It's worth it.
