The 18s/Reserves went in very undermanned but came away with a huge victory of over 100 points. Massive thanks to the under 18s who braved playing against some really big men to help out with numbers. It was a positive hit out with guys getting good miles into their legs and a few old and new faces playing together for the first time. Ryan Monaghan took 40-50 marks across half back for the day in a vintage display. Matt Krul kicked 5 or 6 in his first game for the club as he was unavailable for senior selection.
The seniors had an 8 goal win with a large number of regulars unable to play. It was good to see some new faces in action against opposition finally. All equipped themselves really well. Paul Crimmins in his new role as a defender went really well and James Breen ended with 5 goals in his first game for the club. Cam Collett played in the seniors and did a great job for an under 18 kid in his first senior game. Lot's of things to work on.
