Congratulations to former Knights player, Daniel Currie who made his AFL Debut for the North Melbourne Kangaroos on Sunday afternoon against the Western Bulldogs, at Etihad Stadium. In his seventh year on an AFL list a debut has been a long time coming for Daniel who was originally drafted from the Northern Knights by the Sydney Swans in 2006, before getting his second chance at North Melbourne in 2012. Daniel picked up six disposals, kicked a goal and had nine hit outs playing as a back up to the Kangaroos No.1 ruckman Todd Goldstein. We wish Daniel all the best for the remainder of the season and hope that he can become a regular in the Kangaroos team.
