With the opening round of the season just around the corner, training is now being moved away from the pre-season venues which have previously been used.
Training for the remainder of the home and away season will see umpire training being moved to football grounds that offer lighting and other facilities.
The Central Coast training location every Tuesday starting from Tuesday 1 April 2014 will be the Bateau Bay AFL ground, Passage Road, Bateau Bay from 6pm until 7.30pm. This venue will also incorporate the Central Coast northern junior umpiring group.
The Newcastle training location every Wednesday will still be at Foreshore Park, East Newcastle (meet at the Carriage Shed) from 6pm until 7.30pm. This will change around approximately late April to early May 2014 with training moving to No. 1 Sportsground, corner of Union and Parry Streets, Newcastle from 6pm until 7.30pm. But more information will be provided when No. 1 Sportsground becomes available for Umpire training.
We also understand that the Central Coast southern junior umpires will recommence training at Adcock Park, West Gosford on Thursday 27 Match 2014 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
