New U11 Girls Training- Friday 5:30pm at The Jig
Following the successful SCFC Club day held at the Jig on Sunday 23rd March, the most common question asked was "My 7/8/9/10 year old girl is interested in playing soccer this season- what is available?".
The club will enter at least one, possibly two teams in the FFV Southern Hub. This is a club based team competition where the girls will play against all girl teams from clubs such as Surfside (Ocean Grove), Barwon (Grovedale), Barwon Heads, Drysdale and Breakwater. The matches are held on Sunday mornings at the same venue as all other mixed hub games. ie. all U7/U9/U11 mixed and U11 girls are played at the same venue each Sunday. Registration for the season which runs during Terms 2 and 3 is $150.
We will begin training for the girls this Friday 28th March at the Jig (Banyul Warri Reserve) and we have secured a coach which is fantastic. If we enter two teams, we will still need another coach and interested parents to assist in match day help.
