Campbelltown Australian Football Club is very excited to announce that former Port Adelaide Premiership player Dean Brogan and ex Sydney Swans defender Gerrard Bennett will be playing for them during the 2014 season.
Brogan, currently an Assistant Coach with GWS is very excited about joining the club and getting back to playing grass roots football. The club is extremely happy to have someone such as Dean, who has played almost 200 AFL games involved, with the club. Dean’s experience will be highly beneficial to our young talented players on field as well as being able to offer them guidance of what it takes to make it to the next level.
Bennett, a Centre half back and former first round draft pick as a junior, will also add much needed experience in 2014. After spending 5 years with Geelong and the Sydney Swans, Gerrard then played over 100 games in the SANFL with South Adelaide.
The Club and all its supporters welcome both Dean and Gerrard and wish them all the best this season with the BLUES.
