The Mooroopna Football Netball Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Gradey McNicol (pictured left) as our new playing A Grade coach. Gradey was formally announced as our new coach on the 22nd of January. She joins Michelle Chambers (pictured right) who is coaching our exciting Under 17’s team. Michelle has been with Mooroopna for a number of years now, and is well known as an excellent coach.
Gradey comes to us from the Bendigo league and has an outstanding history with some of the highlights being –
• SNA (Strathdale Netball Association) representative squad member
five years in total
• Two years selected to train with the Victorian Netball Academy
• Golden Square Bendigo FNL player (Two grandfinals and club best
and fairest)
• Loddon Valley FNL player (A grade runner up club best and fairest)
• Played at Strathfieldsaye Bendigo FNL A grade (two years)
• Played in country club grand final team 2011 and
2012
• Coach and selector of the SNA junior rep squad (Two years)
• Coach of 17/Under Strathfieldsaye development
squad
• Co-coached the 17/Under state league SNA team
We’re sure everyone will welcome Gradey to our great club and look forward
to her involvement with netball.
We are also very excited to announce Peita Sleeth and Lauren Thomson wiill be co-coaching B reserve at Mooroopna Football Netball Club! The girls will form a great team of coaches along with Gradey McNicol and Michell McKay Chambers.
