JOINING US FROM AUSKICK?
At Murrumbeena JFC, we take seriously the transition of kids from the Auskick programme to under age competition football. Our Under 9s and 10s play modified rules aimed at keeping our youngest and smallest kids safe. At these young ages, we encourage skill development, fun and participation. It's all about getting kids playing footy and developing a love of the game.
The SMJFL have a minimum age policy. To join U9s, the child must be 7 years old as at 1st January. Proof of age by an official document copy, which is retained by the league/club, is required to verify eligibility.
***The SMFL has introduced an exciting new U8s competition this season for our youngest players.
