After an exhaustive selection process the Management Committee of the Noosa Tigers is pleased to announce the Junior Vice President and Junior Secretary for season 2014.
The Junior Vice Preseident is Warren "Benji" Maher. Benji's playing career with the Tigers ran from 1994 to 1999 when he played with the Seniors and Reserves. See if you can spot Benji in the photo from his playing days. Its pretty easy as he hasn't changed that much. In 1997 Benji combined his playing duties with his role as club President helping to steer the seniors to a premiership that year. In season 2013 he was coach of the premiership winning Noosa U14s.
The new Junior Secretary is Meg Haines. Meg is the mum of Loki Haines, a second year U14, who has been playing with the Tigers from his first Auskick at 7 years of age. Meg has been a team manager a few times and last year came on board as a Junior committee member. This year she is excited to be helping Benji and is pleased to be appointed as Junior secretary. Meg told us that she is hoping that some of the other junior parents will get on board and join the junior sub committee.
