Junior Premier League Trials @ MFC for 2014 Squads
MFC invites all players (boys) in age groups UNDER 12, 13, 14, 15 & 16 to trial for Junior Premier League Squads for Season 2014. Trials will be held at Jim Devine Field (and Queens Park) on Saturday 7th December at 2pm and Saturday 14th December at 4pm. For those players wanting to extend themselves by playing at the top Junior level this is a great opportunity. Murwillumbah FC won the Mens Gold Coast Premier League Premiership after an undefeated 2013 season and are looking for Premier League players of the future. Selectors at the trial will include, David Lonie - 2013, 2014 MFC Mens Premier League Coach and Gold Coast coach of the year; Luke Morley - 2013 Gold Coast Player of the Year and Golden Boot winner; and Dean Milosevic, MFC’s 2014 Director Of Coaching and former professional with various English league teams and NSL clubs in Australia. There will be several other qualified members supporting them on the selection panel and will include both confirmed 2014 coaches and independent selectors comprising former Gold Coast Premier League coaches and State League players.
Further trials will be held in January with further details to be provided. Trials/training for girls’ squads will commence in the New Year (further information to follow). Please be at the ground fully kitted by 2pm with water bottles and hat. Murwillumbah FC has a Football Inclusive Policy. This means that we aim to provide a level of football appropriate to all players’ football skills and playing levels.

TRIAL 1: Saturday 7th Dec, 2013 2pm at Jim Devine Field and Queens Park:
All age groups 2pm – 4:30pm
A brief presentation to players and parents will commence promptly at 2pm in the clubhouse upstairs function room (clean boots will be allowed upstairs on this occasion)
TRIAL 2: Saturday 14th Dec, 2013 4pm at Jim Devine Field and Queens Park:
All age groups 4pm – 6:30pm
TRIAL 3 and beyond:
