Today Newtown and Chilwell Football Netball Club announced former Cat and Triple AFL Premiership player David Wojcinski as its senior coach for the 2014 season.
Wojcinski played for the club in 2013 but suffered a season ending knee injury in round 11 that required a full knee reconstruction. Newtown & Chilwell are delighted to retain the services of Wojcinski.
Wojcinski is excited to lead a group of talented and enthusiastic players. He feels with continued guidance and leadership Newtown and Chillwell Football Netball Club will improve its reputation within the Geelong Football League. He is looking forward to working with all key figures and support staff at the club.
Wojcinski says his key focus areas will be injecting and sustaining a real competitive edge to the team and emphasising a development process whilst utilising the strengths that already exist.
Pre season training will start on the 18th November.
