Executive Committee 2014

The Coomera Australian Football Club AGM was held on Sunday the 13th of October and resulted with a number of changes to the club for 2014.

There was only one nomination for each position and no vote was needed.

The 2014 Executive Committee is:

President: Damien Hofert
Vice President: John Walsh
Vice President: Dave Ballis
Secretary: Lisa Forbes
Treasurer: Vanessa McConnell

General Committee: Garry Smith, Jo Mutimer and Josh McConnell

Damien Hofert took time during his acceptance speech to thank the hard work of Paul Mitting, Garry Smith and Ryan Balcombe who had all sat on the executive committee for the past 3 seasons and had chosen to stand down for various reasons.

Departing President Garry Smith said "I'm absolutely ecstatic to step away and see the club in such great shape. When I joined in 2010 I never dreamed that we would be in the position we are in today especially in the time it took us to get here. We are at a strong financial point, clubrooms, new teams and Premiership Cup to top it off!". "I wish the new committee the best of luck with what will come. I plan to just sit on the general committee and offer any support needed or guidance requested. Honestly with the people elected today I don't think they will need to much help from me."
