Para Hills Knights are happy to announce their Junior Coaches for the 2014 season. All the coaches have extensive experience in coaching juniors and have had successful playing careers of their own.

 

 

U12 – Mario Monteleone

Coaching License – FFSA Youth

Mario has been coaching junior soccer for 11 years in both the FFSA and Elizabeth & Districts and also at FFSA. He has had multiple successes; his teams have participated in Cup finals and placed well on the league tables.

Mario loves working with young players and watching them develop.

 

 

U13 – Alan O’Donnell

Coaching License – FFSA Youth 1&2 (currently completing Senior)

 

Alan has been coaching for 20 years at both junior and senior level. He has coached Elizabeth Zone SAPSASA teams and also been involved as a coach in the FFSA STIC program at U12 & U14 level. Alan has had multiple successes during his coaching career in 2011 taking the Para Hills U15’s to the Manchester Cup Finals and most recently as assistant coach to the Para Hills U23’s, winning the Federation Cup and getting in the Top 6.

 

Alan is looking forward to being able to teach the juniors the same system as the seniors and watch them grow individually.

 

 

U14 – Phil Mullen

Coaching License – AFC “C”

 

Phil has been coaching junior soccer for 8 years in both the FFSA and Elizabeth & Districts and also at FFSA and has completed is AFC “C” License. Phil has had multiple successes; winning two cup finals, and also on the league ladders.

 

Phil’s has a passion for player development and creating a healthy playing environment for the players and their families.

 

U15 – Mark Claridge

Coaching License – FFSA Youth

 

Mark has been coaching junior soccer for 8 years in both FFSA and Elizabeth and District. He has coached in the FFSA STIC program at U12 level. Mark has had multiple successes, winning and participating in cup finals, and on the league ladders.

 

Mark’s focus is about teaching and preparing the boys to one-day play senior football.

 

U16 – Nick Cava

Coaching License – AFC “C”

Nick has been coaching U17 soccer at Para Hills for 6 years and has also completed his AFC “C” License. During this time Nick has been very successful winning three-cup finals, and winning the league.

 

Nick is keen to develop the boys and prepare them for senior football in the near future.

 

 

U17 – Kevin Harvey

Coaching License – Senior

 

Kevin’s coaching career has spanned 29 years both at junior and senior level. He has many successes and has also coached in the FFSA STIC program at U12 level.

 

Kevin’s focus is on developing and providing opportunities to players and preparing them for senior football.

 

We are club that focuses on the ongoing development of our junior players and that is the number 1 focus of all our coaches.
