Final Round Wrap Up !
Final Round for Season 2013
U14 Boys won 3 - 2 away to Whittlesea. Great win to finish the season off! Plenty of drama as the game was not really dominated by either team. Both teams wanted to finish on a high, with our boys taking the points. The boys made significant improvements in the second half of the season, beating teams that they had lost to at the start comfortably.
U13 had a bye. Finishing mid table was a tremendous effort for this team in its first season. Had more big wins than big losses!
U13/14 Girls won5 – 1 away to West Vale. What a season the girls had, finishing second on the table in their first season. The team on top had not been defeated for 2 seasons! Lest not forget winning the Total Girls tournament at the start of the season!
Small Sided finished the season with some challenging games.
U8's were away to Whittlesea. The boys tried hard all day against a very good opponent. A great season for this team, developing into a team that never gives up, uses the ball and has plenty of fun.
U10's were away to Lalor. This was a real task playing Lalor at their ground. Boys put in a good effort. A challenging season for the U10’s who came through as a team of the future, as each week Coach Nick got improvements in play and skill. Well done Boys!
U11's were Home to Light United. A well drilled opposition that has been together for more than 4 years. A good first season for this team, improved out of sight from the start.
