The penultimate weekend of the 2013 season saw the Colts make it to the big dance in thrilling fashion, while it was the end of the road for the Reserves in a big day at Millington Reserve.
COLTS
The Colts side won through to this year's Drew Banfield Colts Grand Final with a heart-stopping 5 point win over bitter rivals Bullcreek Leeming.
The match was a tight affair all day, with the Blues up by 8 points at quarter time and by 2 points at the half, before the Bombers hit the front just before three quarter time to head to the final change with a 1 point advantage.
The final stanza was incredibly tight, with the margin remaining at less than a kick wither way. With the Blues down by a point late into the last quarter, the boys made one last push forward with a high kick to full forward. The pack flew and went to ground, with just Brandon Ellis (who was visibly shaken after a heavy collision in the third term) left on his feet to gather the loose ball and run into an open goal, putting the Blues ahead with just 60 seconds on the clock.
Bullcreek Leeming had one last push forward, but a great defensive mark in the dying seconds ensured Willetton victory and a chance to challenge Scarborough for the flag this Saturday.

RESERVES
The Reserves were looking to do the unthinkable by coming from 5th spot to make the Grand Final, but ultimately fell just short of the incredible after going down by 20 points in a close contest against North Fremantle.
The Blues trailed for much of the day, with an 8 point deficit at quarter time turning into 20 points at the half. The Magpies' lead was back to 14 points at the final change, which had the North Fremantle coach at panic stations, but the Blues were unable to mount the comeback required on this occasion.
Todd Grace was swung forward and kicked 4 goals on the day, while the club's leading goal kicker Hadyn Sleeman booted 2.
