Round 17 – The Sun was out for Fathers Day.

U14 Boys lost 7 - 3 at home to Flemington. Score line did not reflect the game. Flemington are top of the table, and our Boys matched them goal for goal until half time. We had more genuine scoring shots, which is how far our U14 team has come. Great effort against the top of the table.

U13 won 9 – 3 at home to Mill Park. Mill Park fronted with 8 players and really took it up to our team, scoring first. Eventually our Boys over ran them as the day went on. Hats off to Mill Park, they came to play and showed plenty of determination and spirit.

U13/14 Girls had a bye.

Small Sided had some great games.

U8's were home to Watsonia. Scoop was turning the snags watching this game. This was a very exciting game, with the boys setting the pace and the space. It’s all about fun in the U8’s, but it was great to see the players look up and try to find options as well as pass the ball around.

U10's were home to Whittlesea. Scoop enjoyed this game. Some great team work and individual efforts all game. Played the right brand of football, but it just seemed the boys were a bit flat. This team has a had a great season, going from strength to strength, the boys will have got more out of this than Whittlesea.

U11's were away to Brunswick. A 9 a.m. kick off in Brunswick, Happy Fathers day! Good game, the team had some real moments of brilliance in a tough game.
