It's Grand Final Week, and for the first time in the history of the club we have both the seniors and reserves playing for a premiership on the same day at Epping Recreation Reserve this Saturday 7 September. Here's what's happening this week:
THURSDAY NIGHT SELECTION
As a lead up to the grand final the committee will be serving a meal to all players and team staff on Thursday night at our club rooms after training. Tony Cahir, who is a past player, past President and Life Member will be our guest speaker.
It is our pleasure to invite you to join with us for a BBQ gourmet sausage or two.
From 7.00PM, Thursday 5th September at the club rooms.
SATURDAY BREAKFAST
On Saturday morning we are hosting a grand final breakfast at Epping Recreation Reserve Clubrooms from 10.00 am. We are inviting surviving players from the 1955 grand final team to attend. There will be a panel with questions which should be a lot of fun and very interesting.
It is again our pleasure to invite you to the PHFC Grand Final Breakfast as a build-up to the main event to watch our Reserves and Senior teams go to battle against Watsonia in both Grand Finals.
Cooked breakfast including drinks till the commencement of the reserves game - $30.00.
Email or text booking – eric@bluegum.com.au or text 0418 558355 by Wednesday 5.00pm.
SATURDAY RESERVES GAME 11:45am
The Reserves take on Watsonia - a team they are yet to beat this season, but with a bit a momentum they are looking to take out their second premiership in 3 years.
SATURDAY SENIORS GAME 2:30pm
The seniors are playing an exciting brand of football which suits the big Epping Ground and can't wait to take on Watsonia for the senior premiership. They have beaten Watsonia 3 times this season, but The Saints are improving every week and have set their sights on this game. It should be a great contest.
SATURDAY EVENING AT CLUBROOMS
Win or lose, come and join with the players back at the Panton Hill clubrooms after the game and into the evening to celebrate a terrific season.
