Down, but not out.news.html
RIDDELL'S Jarrod Silvester "should be right" after a knock left him seeing stars on the weekend.
The former Richmond defender was knocked flat in the Bombers' 26-point loss to Diggers Rest in the Riddell league's first qualifying final on Saturday.
"It was just one of those things that happens in footy," Bombers president Jason Allen said.
"There was nothing in the incident.
"He went into a pretty simple contest and went to block the other bloke and they just ran into each other.
"He got some stitches on the inside of his mouth and he should be right.''
Riddell will take on Romsey in the first semi-final on Sunday.
