Round 16 Wrap Up
Round 16 was a local derby for the U14’s
U14 Boys won 3 - 2 away to Diamond Valley. Take a short drive down the road, put in 3 goals and back for afternoon tea. 2-0 down at half time, the boys played themselves back into the game with clever passing
U13 Boys took sick leave and forfeited. There is nothing like a Saturday night email to say you are not playing. That’s why we have Friday night training and why Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone!!
U13/14 Girls drew 0 – 0 away to Yarraville. Girls had an early game in a far flung land. Good result from two competitive teams.
Small Sided went to Town.
U8's away to Oak Park. Good game, played at a fast pace with plenty of opportunities on both sides.
U10's away to Northcote. Scoop missed the carrier pigeon.
U11's were home to Essendon Royals, and on a roll. Team work and second efforts all game. This outfit is on a roll, can they do it again?
