Match Preview
After our win against Sydney Uni last week, and with other results going our way, North Shore sit on third spot on the ladder, two games clear of fourth place. If we win either of our last two games, we’ll have the double-chance in the finals.
This week we take on UNSW-ES. The Bulldogs are in fifth place this season, two games behind us; but they come into the game on the back of a thumping win over Pennant Hills last week. But the Bombers are also in good form – five wins in a row, and with a side that’s getting stronger and fitter every week.
We played the Bulldogs at the Village Green earlier this season and won comfortably. With the chance to wrap up the double-chance in the finals, and possibly to play off for top spot next week, this is a key game; and we’ll be going all-out to secure the competition points.
We Need Your Vote
As part of our upgrade of facilities at Gore Hill, we have applied for a grant from St George Bank, to erect a new electronic scoreboard.
It has come down to a vote on Facebook between 3 projects ….
The project with the highest number of votes between the three will get a $ 5,000 grant.
You can access the voting page here:
https://www.facebook.com/stgeorgebankaus/app_145793042290166
Go to St George Bank/ Start Something local / NSW / Lower north shore region and vote for the scoreboard.
Please pass onto whoever you think can assist with their facebook voting
Every vote gets us closer to a new electronic scoreboard - get to it!
We have also submitted a short video for the Swisse AFL Quality Club of the Year.
The AFL and Swisse invited all Swisse AFL Quality Clubs to have the opportunity to share in over $20,000 of cash & money-can't-buy-prizes by simply sending in a short video that celebrates why their club is great.
With a focus on the people, passion, health, and happiness that make grassroots footy clubs great places to be, Swisse and the AFL will this year reward some of Australia’s best.
You can access the voting page here

Every vote gets us closer to winning a prize, so again please share this with family and friends and ask them to vote for North Shore.
Thank you.
