We’re back at home on Saturday for Back to Bears Day. It’s a day when we celebrate the past and the present of the North Shore Football Club, as we work for an even better future.
This Saturday’s Matches
10:00am – Division Four v Pennant Hills
12:00pm – Division One v Pennant Hills
2:10pm – Premier Division v Pennant Hills
4:45pm – Under 18s v Pennant Hills
The canteen and barbeque will be open all day, with hot and cold food, snacks and drinks available to quench your hunger and thirst. Proceeds to the club.
As always, we rely on volunteers on the day to keep the canteen and barbeque going. If you are available to help, please report to Liz Fitzgerald or Alan Lees on the day.
Past player lunch will be served at 1.00pm giving enough time for you to enjoy the food and a catch up before the game – so if you would RSVP for catering purposes that would be appreciated.
There will be special stubby holders on sale on the day - $5 each – these have been sponsored by Pyrmont Car Storage – Bob Quinn – and we thank him for this.

Match Preview
We’ve had quite a rivalry with Pennant Hills in recent seasons, and we’ve played them during the finals in the last three years. The Demons were our bogey team last year, beating us in the last round of the normal season and again during the finals. But we turned the tables on them at Mike Kenny Oval in the opening round this year.
And the stakes are high this time. North Shore and Pennant Hills are two of four teams equal on points at the top of the ladder. It’s effectively an eight-point game – four points that we get if we win, and four points that the Demons don’t get. With the home ground advantage, and some more players returning from injury to strengthen the side, our Bombers will be going in hard to pull off what would be an important result.
