Club stalwart Luke Pitcher, followed his mate David MacKenzie in becoming a Life Member after he played his 200th game for the club on the weekend. Pitch has been a great clubman since he first played in 1999, while still at school. He has been captain of the Reserves, putting his body on the line in the middle or in defence.
Well Done Pitch on a fantastic career both on and off the field.
Adam Weekes also reached a milestone, playing his 50th game for the club. He is having a great year with his experience and enthusiasm the cornerstone of a solid defence. Adam represented the VAFA Big V thi year which is a credit to him. Well done Weeksy on reaching the 50 game milestone.
The seniors got off to a slow start and never really recovered. The Trinity outfit are pretty tall and hence our lack of talls was clearly going to be a factor.
The second quarter was pretty dour with both sides going defensive. We had plenty of the ball but unfortunately our disposal let us down and we found it hard to get a score on the board. Sec was doing a lot of hard work in he ruck while Stowey was doing a lot of good work around the ground and with tagging role.
The boys started the last quarter well, kicking the first three goals. While we were too far behind, the effort was encouraging. Our turnovers were proving costly and Trinity were able to take full advantage.Trinity kicked the last three goals of the game.

The Ressies were pumped ready to ensure a memorable game for Pitch's 200th game. Indeed this was a pretty good game of football with both sides ensuring a willing contest. The last few minutes of the third quarter was to be costly with the opposition able to kick three goals which was to prove the difference. We kept Trinity goalless in the last quarter and while we kicked three goals ourselves, it wasn't going to be enough.
Matt Mitchell finished with six goals for the game, while Richard Mathers was really good all day, attacking the ball well.
