A great crowd attended the Beena Pleasant Sunday Evening 21 July 2013.
Kicked off by Silver Sponsor – Bill Quayle of Rinoldi Pasta, the evening included outstanding guest speaker – Brain ‘Benny’ Goodman VAFA Umpire Director who reminded us all of the manner in which to respect all people of AFL Football, especially Umpires!
MJFC recognised its magnificent Players who registered 50 or 100 Games during the 2013 Season, and each Team’s Player of the Month nominations.
AFL Roo Boys - Shaun Atley and Jamie McMillan assisted with the Player presentations, took time to sign autographs and get photos taken with the kids.
The raffle was another hit with ‘Bulldog’ Porter winning the major prize – a Mercedes Benz for a weekend courtesy of Craig Howard at Mercedes Benz Berwick.
Pizza, Softies and an active bar, the night was a resounding success.
