Round 9 Wrap Up
Round 9 was a real winner for our club.
U14 Boys won 3-1 at home to Whittlesea. This was a real thriller, with our boys on top all day. Hayden scored his first goal while his mum was at the canteen getting a cappuccino! Well done Boys, with a special mention for Connor and Max who worked hard down back all day to put us in control.
U13/14 Girls won 4-0 at home against Greenvale. Scoop has been impressed all year with the way the ball gets passed around. Now the team is starting to control the tempo of the game.
U13 Boys had a bye, these guys have been getting in a few sleep ins lately.
Small Sided shined.
U8's played Pascoe Vale away. Scoop knows its small sided with no ladder and scores, but..The boys goy 5 and took honours against a top of table side. The club is so proud of this effort, this team has shined all year and deserves the praise.
U10's were home to Northcote. Even though the U10 played with 2 players less as people are on their holidays, the boys played exceptionally well. The first half was brilliant and they went into the break up, but tiredness crept in as Northcote played a good passing game.
U11's were away to Light United. Boys had a hard game, with regulars missing. Noah and Jack chimed in with some good work. Tough day at the office, but our team put in all day.
