Thunder Girls in Qld State Teams
Congratulations to Clarece Strudwick for selection into the U13 Qld State Team & Sophie Fuller for her selection into the U15 Qld State Team.
Both girls were identified through the NPL Competition which both participate in on a weekly basis.
Through a series of Identification Rounds, both Clarece & Sophie attended the Final Selection Camp on the weekend of 15/16th June and found out this week they were successfull in selection.
Bree Pogany, also was identified in the U13 Girls, and also attended the final selection camp, however was unsuccessfull this time round. A great achievement for Bree to get this far, being U12 this year.
Both Clarece & Sophie now prepare to attend the FFA National Youth Championships for Girls to be held in Coffs Harbour from the 8th - 12th July. Both go into the pre-nationals camp on the 3rd July to train with their respective teams in preparation before travelling to Coffs Harbour to compete at the Nationals.
Congratulations to both Clarece and Sophie on this achievement and we wish them the best of luck in Coffs Harbour and for the future.
