Mazenod have taken top spot after sneaking home by 2 points in a thriller against Monash.
The stage was set for the top of the table clash between Mazenod, who had won the past 7, and the undefeated Monash, and the game lived up to the hype.
Monash jumped out of the blocks, but Mazenod ground them back, thanks to some big goals from Rees Thomas, including a 60m torpedo.
For Mazenod, Squid Chamberlain (Photo attached) was best on ground in the wet conditions, and Tim Wilson had a great day against his former team.
The two teams now sit 2 games clear of third.
The seconds and thirds continued on their winning ways and now sit second and top of the ladder respectively.
The two's were well lead from stand in full forward Heath black (6 majors), Jonesy and Steve Mann. Whilst out a NOBS/STPATS the thirds started slowly, Paul got his troops in order in the second half to run out strong winners. With the Chiv and Benny Willersdorf strong preformers.
The 19's had a tougher day at the office going down to a strong Fitzroy outfit by 50 odd points.
