Monday 17th June – GWS attends Penrith Swans Training
Coming off the back of the GWS club night last week, Tuesdays training is being moved to Monday night when we will have Thomas Bugg from the GWS Giants attending our training at Greygums Oval. We will be mixing up the training night, and a free sausage sandwich will be provided for all players, and available for purchase by parents and siblings on the night. It’s a great chance to meet someone who has gone all the way to the highest level in football and get some tips on how to go about improving your game. The evening will start at 5.30pm and finish at 7.00pm.
Giants vs Essendon Saturday 20 July 2.10pm
Team managers have tonight received information about a promotion GWS Giants are running for the game against Essendon. Teams are being invited to take part in a pre-game lap of honour around Skoda Stadium will be provided tickets for the game. Additional tickets can be ordered through the team managers to make sure that you are seated with the children. Make sure you check who wants to come and watch the Penrith Swans march proudly, and get back to you team managers asap.
Trivia Night Friday 2nd August 7.00pm Penrith Gaels Club
It’s on again, the annual Penrith Swans Trivia night will be held in Friday 2nd August starting at 7.00pm. Tables of up to 8 can be booked, with each seat costing $10. Bring along friends, family and anything else you believe will help. Will this be the year the Under 16’s finally prevail, will the Presidents table go for three in a row (not winning, just turning up) or will you prove to be the master of minuscule facts. Make it a great night out and come and support your footy club.
