Grading, Championship and Summer Season Policy
Brendale Bobcats Grading Season – Championship Season Policy
Players are placed in age group teams based on Brendale Bobcat’s Selection Policy. The Grading Season allows Bobcat Coaches and the Technical Coordinator to make judgments about how individual players progress and perform. It also allows decisions to be made about how teams fair against opposition clubs and then make adjustments accordingly. These judgments are made by the Technical Coordinator and age group Coaches. The Wizard’s Competition Manager and Development Officer/s may also be asked for their opinion and expertise. Ultimately, the Technical Coordinator will have the final say.
It is not always in the best interests of the individual players, the teams or the club, for players to remain in the same team or division in Grading and Championship Seasons. Changes can and will be made if deemed in the best interests of the individual players, the club and the competition. These judgments are made by the Technical Coordinator and age group Coaches. The Wizard’s Competition Manager and Development Officer/s may also be asked for their opinion and expertise. Ultimately, the Technical Coordinator will have the final say.
Brendale Bobcats Summer Season Policy
The Northside Wizard’s Summer Season is currently played in term four of a school year, about September – December.
POLICY
Players are placed in age group teams based on Brendale Bobcat’s Selection Policy. Bobcat Coaches and the Technical Coordinator will make judgments about each player. There will be a deliberate attempt to mix the teams differently than they were during the Championship Season, if the number and standard of players allows it to be done. These judgments are made by the Technical Coordinator and age group Coaches. The Wizard’s Competition Manager and Development Officer/s may also be asked for their opinion and expertise. Ultimately, the Technical Coordinator will have the final say.
