The Juniors have a training session with 2 Collingwood player representatives Tuesday (tonight) until 6.00pm at Hurstbridge old High School oval, followed by a sausage sizzle afterwards.
It has been organized with Dean Haydock for the seniors to change venue from Diamond Creek and to follow on afterwards from 6.00 – 7.00 as a normal training night. The players will just say g’day to the kids as they arrive on their way to the ground and the kids will hopefully hang around, have a sausage and enjoy watching the big boys do their stuff.
This is a rare opportunity where the juniors and seniors are at the same place at the same time and a great chance to create some good will and help make the kids feel important and connected with the seniors.
Can we all make a special effort to get along to meet the kids and their parents and to show support for this if possible please. If you can spread the word and get a few along to help create a bit of an occasion and atmosphere would be great.
