The clubs honorary curator, Damien Walsh, has provided an update of work around the club and news of an upcoming working bee on Saturday May 18th.
"The front fence finally got rendered and painted which has made the entry to the ground much more inviting. Thanks a lot to Steve Jeffs for organising the paint from Paint City and supervising labourers and actually painting the fence himself. Great job.
We are managing to keep the ground and surrounds looking quite good this year with much work and some minor changes to our green keeping practices. Thanks a lot to the hard workers especially honorary Grounds CEO Bart jaques, line marking general manager Leigh and Bob from BJ’s Bobcat and Excavator hire. We have prepared a 3 year plan which will be available for view in the next couple of weeks. We are still looking for help if anyone has some spare time.
We have a working Bee this Saturday and with a bye for the Seniors we are looking forward to lenty of help."
