Match Preview
We have quite a rivalry with Pennant Hills, and in the last three seasons our seniors have played against the Demons during the finals series.
Unfortunately they de-railed our season last year, beating us in the final home and away round to cost us the minor premiership, and then again in the qualifying final – so our Bombers will be red-hot in the quest to put things right in this clash.
With much of our Premier Division squad from last season intact, and unveiling some exciting new recruits, we’ve got a strong team on the park for this game.
And with all four of our teams together at the one ground, it’s a great opportunity to stick around for the day and see all of our club in action and support all our teams.
Mike Kenny Oval
Mike Kenny Oval is at Greenway Park, on Shepherds Drive at Cherrybrook.
To get there from Gore Hill, travel up Pacific Highway, then turn onto Longueville Road. Go straight ahead at Epping Road, follow Epping Road all the way.
Go over the railway bridge at Epping, the road will swing round to the right. Keep going straight ahead on Beecroft Road; follow that road to the end.
When you get to Pennant Hills Road, turn right and then take the next left onto Boundary Road. Follow Boundary Road until you get to Francis Greenway Drive. Turn right onto Francis Greenway Drive, and then turn left at Macquarie Drive.
At the end of Macquarie Drive, turn right at the roundabout, the driveway to the car park will come up on your left.
If you’re going by public transport, it’s a long way from the railway line. Get the train to Pennant Hills, then catch the red M60 Metrobus (destination Parramatta via Castle Hill) to Shepherds Drive.

Coming Up
Next week, on Saturday 13th April, we’ll be playing our first night game at Gore Hill; switching on the lights before our clash with St George, we will also be holding the $1,000 draw during the day so get your ticket from your favourite player ($40) to be a part of the action. This is going to be a great day, one not to be missed – calling all Bombers to come to Gore Hill on the 13th.
