Coburg Football Club will finally kickstart their 2013 season this Sunday 2pm at Mantello Holden Oval in Coburg.
After defeating Sandringham in their one and only meeting in 2012, the Tigers will go in full of confidence, hoping to kick off their 2013 season in style. Morale will also be high after a strong showing against the Northern Blues in their last practice match on Saturday, coming out of that game as 46 point victors.
There will be a lot of focus on which Richmond FC listed players will be available for Coburg, especially after such strong performances from so many players last week, which surely must have caught the eyes of Richmond selectors.
Sunday's match should also see the return of two prolific Coburg players - Clifton and Carnell, who were both absent for the majority of the pre-season. The inclusion of these players would be a massive boost for Coburg, particularly the passion and leadership that captain Nick Carnell brings to the table.
It should be a ripping game to start off the season, and there are sure to be many AFL listed players on show for both sides, so come along, cheer the burgers on and help us start 2013 in the best possible fashion!
