ROUND 3 - NPL Games Review

SWQ Thunder hosted games for all teams at home last weekend 23rd/24th March against Brisbane City for all Boys teams & Palm Beach for the Girls teams.

Our teams were unable to score a win in any of their games, with U18 & U20 playing Brisbane City at USQ on Saturday eveing and all junior teams playing at USQ on Sunday. It was a full weekend of quality football for all teams.

The U12 Boys team suffered a 9-0 loss, the U13 boys losing 3-0, and the U13 Girls also going down 3-0.

Our U14 boys managed a 0-0 draw against Brisbane City, while the U14 Girls scored, however lost 8-1 to Palm Beach.

The U15'Boys lost 5-1, and the U15 Girls lost 6-0.

During a well fought back game, the U16 Boys managed to find the net, & gained a 3-3 draw against a strong Brisbane City team.

The U18 Lads and U18 Girls both lost 5-1 in both their games.

The U20 Team managed a 0-0 draw against a formidable Brisbane City Team, picking them up a point for this game.

All Junior teams now have two weeks off over the holidays, recommencing on Sunday 14th April.

The U18 & U20 teams both have a break over Easter, & play again against Brisbane Strikers on Sunday 7th April at Meakin Park Brisbane.
