On Saturday the 23rd of March, Campbelltown Monarch Blues kick off Season 2013 with a series of trial games against fellow Sydney AFL Club Southern Power
The Day kicks off at Monarch with the newly formed MACARTHUR GIANTS playing Southern Power in the Under 18's at 10am. They will be looking to continue the form from last week after they beat Penrith by 42 points in there debut match.
At 12am, the first bounce of Reserve Grades season will happen and will be the coaching debut of Campbelltown favourite, Simon David who will be not nessically be looking for a win on the day.
"The main focus is for players to have a run and clean out the cobwebs and prepare for round 1. It is also a good opportunity for new players to experience a real AFL game. A win for southern power would be a injury free match with players gaining confidence leading into April 6."
Former Sydney Swans Player, Neil Brunton, will then make his return to Campbelltown as he takes charge of the Premier Division side looking to build on last year. The game will start at 2:10pm and should be a great game between two sides looking to have a good year ahead of them
We welcome all spectators to come down and enjoy a great day of footy.
