The Coburg Football Club regrets the passing of George William Parry
George Parry has spent a lifetime at Coburg Football Club. Starting in 1954 taking the race results 4 times a day from the Secretary's office to the scoreboard to be put on board.
In 1960 he got involved with the 3rds by doing the timekeeping on matchday for some 23 years.
In 1976 George joined the Football Committee, and also assisted the club by working in the kiosk, which he did for the next 33 years. George also enjoyed helping out at the Football Club's bingo nights twice a week.
In more recent times George was involved in selling the Football Record at every home game, greeting fans as they entered the gate.
A job well done by George Parry, he will be sadly missed.
