Last Tuesday, the Lakes Entrance Football Netball Club were involved in the LEBTA (Lakes Entrance Business & Tourism Association) Summer Activities Program on the foreshore.
We had plenty of people turn out to assist with the activities designed for kids of all ages as they crossed the footbridge after a day at the beach.
There was a handball competition, netball shoot out and goal kicking activity available for kids to have a go at with prizes being awarded to the winners as well as anyone who was willing to 'have a crack'.
It was great to see the Senior Coaches as well as a number of senior players running the activities. We also had former, current and future star Seagulls netballers strutting their stuff with the shoot out.
Alison Brewer from the LEBTA thanked the Club for our efforts and stated, "Thanks to all who helped with footy and netball activities on the foreshore tonight. You certainly are a club with a 'fantastic' community spirit... Once again thank-you."
