Player profile: GODWILL BASHA
Godwill is almost all the way through his third season with Lightning. First playing in the U14s coached by Wayne Robertson, last season Godwill was under the direction of Kial Stanley in the U15s and this season sees him back under the direction of Robertson in the U17s. The popular player with a great sense of humour says he loves his team mates and that makes playing with Lightning so special. His warm up routine includes drinking plenty of water and juggling the ball to sharpen his touch before kick off. A great athlete admired for his strength and agility Basha admits to eating a mars bar before the game for that extra bit of energy. Good luck Godwill as you line up for week 9 which sees the end of the 2012 VCL season.
