Another New Tiger for 2013
Former Sydney Swan Brett Meredith has joined the Werribee Tigers for the
2013 season, lining up with his former team mate Jarred Moore at Avalon Airport Oval.
Meredith made his AFL debut in 2009 and played 16 games with the Swans after being
drafted pick 26 in the 2007 National Draft.
Werribee Senior Coach Scott West is happy to have signed another quality
midfielder.“Brett is a good, strong, skillful on baller and his AFL experience will be
invaluable for us. He is good mates with Jarred Moore so it will help them
both fit in at the club.”
Brett is equally excited “I met Westy and the boys and liked what I saw, it is a
good club with good players and I am looking forward to a successful year in
2013. Having ‘Bulldog’ (Jarred Moore) there is great. I lived with him for a few
years in Sydney.”
The 23 year old, 181 centimetre and 81 kilogram midfielder sees himself filling
a number of roles with the Tigers.
“I play mostly in the midfield but like the wing as well and can play half
forward or half back.”
