Former Maroochy Junior Mitch Scholard will return to the Green & Gold in 2013 after a number of years playing for Aspley in the Queensland State League competition.
Scholard, Aged 22 and 187cm tall, played 6 senior games with Aspley in 2012, however still took out the club's Reserve Grade leading goalkicking award with 36 majors.
In 2011 he took home a swag of awards including the League best & fairest, Legaue leading Goalkicker & Club Best & Fairest despite spending a number of games in the senior side.
He is more than familiar with a large chunk of the Roos playing list having graduated through the Suncoast Power program in which he made the 2008 & 2009 Team of the Year sides toegther with senior Roo players Declan Magill, Harry Wilson, Kane Tyson, Damon Chapman & Matt Allman.
Scholard is the fourth major signing for the club in the past two weeks.
