The Maroochy Roos have welcomed their 3rd major signing in just over a week with former Gippsland Power player Ren Anderson joining new coach Brett Maloney's squad.
The 27 year old Anderson will bring plenty of experience to a youthful Roos outfit having had lots of football success at a number of club's across country Victoria.
Anderson played his first senior game for the Drouin Football club at the ripe old age of 15 . Since he has had stints with Nilma Darnum in the Ellinbank & District football league and 4 years at Yarragon in the Mid Gippsland Football League.
In 2007 he was invited to train with the Box Hill Hawks VFL squad for 7 weeks.
At 6'2'', 90kg and a giant leap, Anderson has spent a large part of his football career in the Ruck and at CHF (club leading goalkicker on 5 occasions) however he has the versatility to play in almost any position on the ground.
Anderson's recruitment is the third major signing for the club in just over a week after former Broadbeach and Surfers player Matt Boston and former Caloundra and Manunda Hawks player Michael Darcy joined last week.

Roos pre-season training will commence at Fisherman's Rd from 5.30pm on Tuesday December 4.
