Change of Name to Watsonia Heights Football Club

Dear Member,

At the clubs recent Annual General Meeting last Sunday 21 October a unanimous recommendation was made by those in attendance to change the name of the club from Watsonia Heights Soccer Club
to Watsonia Heights Football Club.

This progressive change will bring the club into line with the administration of the sport in this country by our peak councils, the Football Federation of Australia and the Football Federation of Victoria. Only a few clubs now identify themselves as 'Soccer' clubs. The name change is in line with our desire to project ourselves as a modern and progressive club in this region.

In order to make this change, we must refer this question to all members' of the club.

Please indicate your position on this question by voting at the following link by 16 November:

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
