Lucas Brass has been named Panton Hill Reserves coach for the 2013 season. Brass will join with Dean Haydock as senior coach and Shane Lyons as assistant following Jayson Burleigh stepping down from the Reserves coaching role after 3 years to take on the role as Football Manager. Lucas is excited to develop as a coach with such experience and guidance around him.
Whilst Lucas is young he has played a key leadership role at the Panton Hill Football Club including captaining the 2011 premiership side and playing senior footy at the Redbacks throughout his playing days. A shoulder injury kept him out of the game during 2012 but the opportunity to develop as a coach has provided Lucas with new found enthusiasm. The local will be building a new house in Panton Hill next year, conveniently adjoining the ground, so he'll certainly be around to support all existing and new players joining the club. Congratulations Brassy.
