Box Hill United Pythagoras SC Goalkeeper Program
ALL JUNIOR GOALKEEPERS
From SSG to Under 18’s, the program will encompass all ages and all abilities. Goalkeepers will be coached through technique and worked efficiently in a concise session where they are taught the modern goalkeeping philosophy.
Participants will understand that they are a player before they are a goalkeeper and this will run parallel to the club’s own philosophy.
“They just get sent off alone to do their own training-that’s not the way to produce good goalkeepers. It’s a very specialized position.”

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
• The program will run in conjunction with the Box Hill pre-season dates, which will commence on October 15th and run through the 2013 season, available 5 days a week.
• Sessions will be no longer than 1 hour and will run in maximum groups of four to ensure an intimate session
• All players are to bring their own drinks, gloves, boots and pants (if avail) to all sessions.
• Training will be taken by Alex Pavlidis, Box Hill United goalkeeper.
