PEGS Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Under 19 Coach for season 2013. After a successful season in 2012 with a number of U19 players playing Senior Football, the club is continuing its development of our younger players with this important role.
U19 COACHING POSITION 2013
PEGS Football Club seeks expressions of interest for the role of Under 19 Coach for season 2013. The club will compete in C-Section and the U19 team competes in the U19 (3) VAFA Competition.
Affiliated with Penleigh & Essendon Grammar School (PEGS), the club enjoys a strong playing list of junior players, brand new facilities and new home ground completed in 2011 at the PEGS Sporting Complex in Keilor Park.
The club has a young and energetic senior committee, a clear strategy for the future and a strong connection with the school. Strong off-field support is provided for the role.
PEGS Football Club is experiencing significant growth with the launch of the PEGS Juniors Football Club in 2012 which has been a huge success. The U19 Coach will work closely with our Development Coach in strengthening the U19 program for 2013 and preparing our younger players for senior football.
Requirements
The U19 Coach will need to display:
- Previous Coaching Experience
- Enthusiastic & positive approach to coaching
- Excellent organisation & communication skills
- Ability to work with all coaches in developing senior players
