Our Opponents
North Shore took on Pennant Hills at Mike Kenny Oval in the opening round of the season, and got beaten. It was a small setback, but we’ve only been beaten once since.
And now we take the Demons on again at home. A win will secure the minor premiership and give the players a well-earned rest next week. But if we lose, we’ll probably be in the Qualifying Final next week.
For Div 1 and the Under 18s, it’s the last game of the season; and a chance to finish the season on a positive note.
After the Game
After the Premier Division game, all players, coaches and supporters are invited to a short post-match presentation in the clubhouse. Hear from our coaches with their thoughts on the afternoon’s action, and the best on ground for the three games will be named.
North Shore Raffle
If you’ve bought tickets for the raffle, the moment you’re waiting for will come at half time in the Premier Division game. The prize, donated by the Crows Nest Hotel, one of our sponsors, is two tickets to the AFL plus travel and accommodation.
If you haven’t bought tickets yet, see Nolan as soon as you arrive at the ground for absolutely your last chance to be a winner.
If you have sold raffle tickets, these should have been returned to the club by now – if you’re still sitting on any, please get them to Liz Fitzgerald first thing on Saturday morning.
Online Coverage
Updates from all three games will be posted on the North Shore website at www.northshorefc.com.au during the day – including every quarter for the Premier Division fixture.
The Premier Division fixture will also be streamed live. Visit the Sydney AFL website at www.sydneyafl.com.au and follow the AFL Sydney TV link.
