Saturday was Aaron Nummy Day, and rightly so. He played his 251st game and broke Mark Cullen’s Vermont EFL Games Record He also broke his nose and then dramatically kicked the final goal. It could not have been scripted better, apart from the nose. Special thanks to the Master Engraver Perry Fletcher for the wonderful engraved decanter for Aaron Nummy. The Seniors put on a very strong performance in the blustery conditions. The Craig Coghlan CSR Monier Award went to Dean Kelly for a sensational game. Other best were Ryan Wilson, Nathan Henley, Daniel Mendes, Grant McCarthy, Tom Carmody. The Reserves did well again with the Perry Fletcher Award going to Cameron Dore, with other best players Trent King, Lachie Ryan, Lachie Tindal, Brad Jordan, Todd Daniher, Michael Sonsie. The Under 19’s were a bit undermanned , but at the same time played one their worst for the year. The Elite Appliances best players were Connor McCafferty, Matt Gould, Matt Barnard, Bryce Fisher, Matt McCluskey and Connor Sherridan-Ferrie. SOCIAL:- Thanks to all our helpers for the Junior Finals you were fantastic. We have now two weeks of Third Div. If you can help Sunday, just turn up. Presentation Night is Friday 19th October.
