After a tense first quarter where no scores were registered, the mighty Doggies realised they had a big challenge on their hands if they were going to win this grand final. The boys lifted in the second term and finally broke through with a goal to Cam B. They continued to pepper the goals in the third quarter and Cam T and Will S both scored majors. The mighty Doggies were ruthless in defence only allowing the Vampires 2 points for the whole match. No goals were scored in the last quarter but our boys held on for a superb victory and sang the song with gusto out on the ground. They received their medals with pride as did all the coaches and assistants. Steve invited all families to join in the song again in the rooms and that was a wonderful celebration that we will cherish forever. This is a special group of boys who have won 2 premierships in 3 years. We know there will be tough matches ahead but look forward to meeting this challenge and continuing to improve as a team. To all the boys, coaches and assistants - all your hard work has paid off and you absolutely deserve to be premiers!!

3 Daniel Perez - trying to get the ball and do good teamwork
4 Cameron Blitsas - tackling hard and making good passes
5 Jayden Cooke - do the best I can and help out around the stoppages
7 Mitchell Barlow - keep them goalless
8 Rimo Khodr - kicking the ball long and trying to stop the goals
10 Nathan Brookes - try and get more scoring opportunities
11 Timothy Carew - stick on my man and play my role
12 Flynn Mountford - try and win the ball and kick it down to the forward line
13 Callum Batchelor - tackle people and run onto the ball
14 Cameron Taylor - kick straight and hit targets and kick some goals
15 Jonas Eccles - play 4 quarters without running out of energy
16 Austin Johnson - gut running late in the game, do the one percenters and get straight back up if pushed down
17 Luke Garnaut - kick straight and tap it forward in the ruck
18 Jake Bowey - kick goals and tackle hard
19 Noah Crocker - get the ball and pass it to a teammate
20 Will Johnston - get the ball, get in front and take some marks
21 Callum Macnamara - get the ball and tackle hard
23 Matthew Wardlaw - get good tackles and keep the ball out of the back line
24 Jack Bergin - attack the ball and help create some scoring opportunities
25 Will Straford - take marks and kick straight
