World Team Player Shines in Sydney

Congratulations to Erol Sertbas who played for the Sydney Swans reserves on the weekend.

Erol was part of the World XVIII Team which played in the 2012 NAB AFL U16 National Championships.
As one of the team’s best players, Erol won the World Team’s MVP award.
Erol's parents were born in Turkey, with the family now living in Sydney. He plays club football for the North Shore Bombers, where he won the Rising Star nomination earlier this year.
Sixteen-year-old Erol is a gifted sportsman who has competed at National and State level in athletics. A talented soccer player Erol gave up representative soccer in 2010 to focus on AFL.
Erol will be an exciting player to watch as his career develops.
