WHOROULY coach Brendan Roche is adamant any of the Ovens and King's top eight can win this year's premiership, but admitted his side's preparation for the finals had been close to perfect.
The Lions secured their 14th win of the season on Saturday when they accounted for King Valley by 36 points to remain in second spot on the ladder.
With Milawa a game clear on top of the ladder and likely to beat Swanpool this week, the Lions are all but certain to face North Wangaratta in a qualifying final.
The Hawks were the last team to beat the Lions but since that round nine clash, the Lions have gone on to win their past eight games and are arguably the most in-form team in the competition.
