A message to all of our club members.
The club received an email today from the MCDFNL informing us that members of our club breached the Cyber Safety Policy on the weekend by posting inflammatory comments on Facebook.
We ask that all members please read the cyber policy and only use facebook for posting positive comments in future.
As a club it is our responsibility if our members breach the policy, and we can be fined for any breaches that occur.
Further, if you wish to lodge any complaints about or to the MCDFNL or the Avoca FNC, please do so through the appropriate channels rather than posting in an open forum such as facebook.
MCDFNL Contact details are on their website and the Avoca FNC contact details are on our club website.

The MCDFNL takes seriously its responsibility in providing robust policy, guidelines and education for its members in relation to what is deemed acceptable and appropriate online behaviours. The League and/or club name, motto, crest, logo and/or uniform must not be used in any way which would result in a negative impact for the league or club and its members. Members of the MCDFNL and its clubs have a responsibility to ensure that all online communications are in keeping with the leagues expectations in relation to appropriate and respectful interactions with officials, coaches, umpires, players, parents, spectators and sponsors.
